Eleanor (Elle) is a Registered Nurse with six years of experience and is the Clinical Nurse Specialist for Rare Diseases at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Randwick. She specialises in care coordination and research for children with Angelman syndrome, Kleefstra syndrome, and Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. Elle holds a Bachelor of Psychological Science and a Master of Nursing, with a focus on paediatric nursing. She has gained experience in caring for infants and toddlers with complex chronic conditions, renal issues, and neurological disorders.
Since joining Sydney Children’s Hospital in 2017, Elle has worked in a range of paediatric settings and developed a strong interest in rare neurodevelopmental disorders. In her current role, she works with families and clinical teams, including paediatric neurologists and genetics services, to support coordinated care for children with complex medical needs.
